Role Overview AI 2030 is seeking a Fractional Director to lead and scale the AI 2030 Accelerator. This person will be responsible for designing and running accelerator programs, recruiting high-quality startups, engaging mentors and investors, supporting founder growth, and connecting startups with AI 2030’s global ecosystem. This role requires someone who has directly operated an early-stage venture fund, venture studio, incubator, or accelerator program. Key Responsibilities Design and manage the AI 2030 Accelerator program structure, timeline, curriculum, and founder experience. Recruit and select high-potential AI startups for accelerator cohorts. Engage mentors, investors, corporate partners, and hyperscaler partners. Help startups access benefits through AI 2030’s AWS Activate, Google for Startups, and NVIDIA VC Alliance relationships. Support founders on fundraising, go-to-market, enterprise sales, responsible AI, product strategy, and partnerships. Organize founder workshops, mentor sessions, investor office hours, pitch practices, and demo days. Build relationships with VCs, angels, universities, startup communities, corporate innovation teams, and ecosystem partners. Track startup progress, program outcomes, mentor engagement, investor introductions, pilots, funding, and partnerships. Work with AI 2030 leadership to grow the Accelerator into a leading platform for responsible AI startups. Required Qualifications Direct experience running an early-stage VC fund, venture studio, incubator, or accelerator program . Strong understanding of early-stage startups, fundraising, product-market fit, go-to-market, and founder support. Experience recruiting startups, mentors, investors, and strategic partners. Strong network across startups, venture capital, AI, enterprise technology, or innovation ecosystems. Excellent program management, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting AI, SaaS, enterprise software, deep tech, fintech, healthcare, climate tech, or public sector startups. Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, NVIDIA, or hyperscaler startup programs. Experience organizing demo days, investor showcases, pitch competitions, or founder programs. Understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, AI risk, or AI adoption in regulated industries. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on accelerator operator and startup ecosystem builder who can bring structure, credibility, and execution discipline to the AI 2030 Accelerator. They should know how to attract strong founders, activate mentors and investors, support early-stage startup growth, and turn ecosystem partnerships into real value for startups. How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume, LinkedIn profile, and a short statement describing their experience supporting startups and why they are interested in helping build the AI 2030 Accelerator.
