Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dependable and healthy Framer Carpenter Laborer to join our general construction team of 2.This role involves assisting with various framing and carpentry tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring structural integrity and quality craftsmanship.The ideal candidate will have experience in building erection, concrete forming, and general construction site work, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail.This is a small company doing in house construction project.Duties Assist with metal stud framing, wood framing, and trim carpentry to construct walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components Support the installation of rebar and concrete forms for foundations and slabs Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements Perform siding installation, finish carpentry, and restoration work Contribute to roofing projects including shingling and waterproofing Assist with welding, siding, plastering, and remodeling tasks as needed Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on job sites Experience Prior experience in construction management or site supervision is a plus Hands-on experience with metal building erection, concrete finishing, masonry, roofing, siding, or related trades preferred Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and heavy equipment operation required Knowledge of framing techniques such as woodworking, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and plastering beneficial Demonstrated ability to work safely in a construction environment involving heavy lifting and complex tasks Previous construction site experience in residential or commercial projects is highly desirable but is not necessary.This position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skill set within the construction industry while contributing to diverse projects.We value safety-conscious individuals committed to quality craftsmanship.Pay:$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits:On-the-job training Paid time off Retirement plan Tools provided People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location:In person.
