Freelance Florist

Jadou Design Studio is an event decor and floral company specializing in elevated weddings and large-scale designs.We are looking for a seasonal, Freelance Florist (1099 Contractor) to assist with occasional weekday floral production and event prep at our warehouse.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on floral work without late nights or full event-day commitments.Schedule Wednesdays & Thursdays:12:00 PM - 5:00 PM (on select weeks based on event schedule) Occasional Saturdays:10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (for onsite floral setup & candle staging only) No late nights and no event breakdown required Responsibilities Assist with floral prep and arrangement production Process and condition fresh flowers Assemble centerpieces and floral components Prep candles and tabletop decor for events Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace Compensation Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) 1099 independent contractor role Important Notes This position is mainly warehouse-based (Elk Grove Village) No on-site event teardown or overnight work required Schedule varies based on event calendar (peak seasonal months are May - October) Please submit:Your resume Portfolio of your floral work - emailed to:info@jadoudesignstudio.com Pay:$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
