Role Overview We are looking for a talented freelance Food Stylist to support upcoming product photo and video shoots. This is a contract-based role , engaged on a per-shoot basis. You will play a key role in translating product into compelling, high-impact visuals. What You’ll Do Style food for product photography and video shoots (e-commerce, social, campaigns) Prepare and present food to look fresh, elevated, and camera-ready Source and manage props, surfaces, and styling elements Maintain consistency across shots while adapting to different creative needs Work efficiently on set to meet production timelines What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a food stylist (portfolio required) Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and camera interaction Experience styling prepared or packaged foods to look premium and craveable Aesthetic aligned with modern, clean, lifestyle-driven brands Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Based in or able to work in Los Angeles / Orange County Bonus If You Have Experience with Asian cuisine or global food brands Existing network of photographers, prop stylists, or studios Ability to assist with light food prep or on-set adjustments Project Scope Shoots scheduled as needed (launch, campaigns, seasonal content) Half-day or full-day bookings depending on scope Competitive freelance rate based on experience To Apply Please send: Portfolio (website or PDF) Brief introduction + relevant experience Day rate / project rate Location and availability
