Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service at the front counter and restaurant Take customer orders accurately using POS systems Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds with precision while maintaining balanced cash drawers Assist with food preparation, including assembling orders, serving beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in food handling areas Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction by recommending specials or popular items Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, bussing tables, and adhering to food safety protocols Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks and ensure timely delivery of orders to customers Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards Requirements Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus Familiarity with POS systems Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices within the food industry Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that encourages repeat business Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling Experience working in a café or grocery store environment is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
