Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Hours: Approximately 6:00 AM 2:00 PM (morning and early afternoon shifts) Position Overview The Front of House Team Member is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, high-energy bagel shop environment. This role focuses on customer service, order accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere during peak breakfast and lunch hours. Key Responsibilities Greet every customer promptly with a friendly and positive attitude Take accurate orders at the counter and/or POS system Prepare and serve bagels with cream cheese, sandwiches, coffee, and beverages Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and modifications Ensure all orders are prepared quickly, correctly, and presented well Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately Keep front counter, dining area, and beverage stations clean and stocked Restock bagels, spreads, paper goods, and beverages throughout shift Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Assist with opening and/or closing duties as assigned Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual, especially for early morning shifts Basic math and cash handling skills Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help where needed Previous food service or customer service experience preferred (not required) Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 2530 lbs (boxes of bagels, supplies, etc.) Comfortable working in a busy, sometimes high-pressure environment What Were Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Attention to detail and pride in presentation Ability to stay calm and focused during busy rushes Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and customer satisfaction Perks Morning/early afternoon schedule (no late nights) Team-oriented, upbeat work environment Employee meal benefits (per company policy) Opportunity for growth within the company Required qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the United States Preferred qualifications: 16 years or older
