About us:Located in Paradise Valley, The Hermosa Inn is a boutique luxury retreat recognized as the #1 Arizona Resort in the 2024 World's Best Awards by Travel Leisure and honored with the prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation.Nestled within an exclusive neighborhood just minutes from Scottsdale and its many attractions, the Inn is a true hidden gem offering an intimate and exceptional guest experience.At The Hermosa Inn, people are at the heart of everything we do.We believe in recognizing dedication, hard work, and attention to detail.If you're looking for a place where your contributions are valued and your commitment to hospitality makes a difference, we'd love to welcome you to our team.Job Description - Front Desk Agent Part-Time As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Agent serves as an impeccable representative of The Hermosa Inn.This role requires a friendly, professional, polished, and knowledgeable individual who delivers exceptional guest service at every interaction.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential.Due to the intimate size of the Inn, this position requires the ability to seamlessly support front desk operations while also assisting with concierge services and reservations.At all times, the Guest Services Agent's top priority is providing an outstanding experience for every Hermosa Inn guest.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures, including greeting guests, registering arrivals, and assigning rooms Manage and process reservations Set up and maintain accurate guest folios, including billing information Record guest preferences, comments, and special requests in guest profiles Post guest charges and ensure billing accuracy Communicate effectively with internal departments including Maintenance, Housekeeping, Valet, Restaurant, and Sales Generate and distribute daily operational reports as required Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and policies Qualifications Previous Front Desk Agent experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Strong communication and customer service skills Minimum of 2 years of related customer service experience preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Job Type:Part-Time /weekends, evenings Communication method(s) used:Email Schedule:flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Work Location:On-site (Not Remote) Pay:$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Referral program Vision insurance Schedule:8 hour shift Night shift Work Location:In person.
