Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support office management functions. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will ensure a smooth and professional experience for visitors, clients, and team members alike. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome visitors, members, and athletes with positive and professional demeanor. Provide information about the facility, programs, services, and events. Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently. Manage core front desk operations by delivering exceptional customer service and performing all administrative functions, including phone and email communications, appointment scheduling, facility bookings, registration processing, filing, data entry, report preparation and any additional administrative duties assigned by management. Maintaining a clean and organized reception area. Oversee member check-ins and access to facilities. Support membership sign-ups, cancellations, and updates to member account information. Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately. Manage email correspondence, responding to inquiries and forwarding messages as needed. Communicate effectively with staff, coaches, and management. Convey and process registrations for memberships, classes, court rentals and policies. Manage bookings for lodging, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Develop a thorough understanding of all facility offerings, including court availability, gym schedules, lodging options, and membership packages. Stay up to date on any changes or promotions. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively. Escalate complex problems to the appropriate manager. Perform tours of the facility for prospective members. Monitor the reception area and ensure the safety and security of visitors and staff. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong clerical skills Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Excellent computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and data entry software Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere Proficient in English and Spanish is essential Previous experience as a receptionist or in an office setting is a plus Ability to type quickly with high accuracy and manage time effectively to meet deadlines Knowledge of various sports is a plus.
