Position: Front Desk Agent - PT / FT Seeking someone who can provide great customer service at our campground front desk. This position will be scheduled 16+ hours per week with potential for more as business and scheduling needs demand. This position works Friday and Saturday evenings. Based on skill sets, we may have other needs on the campground whereby this could become a FT position and/or cover another PT role as cashier at grab and go cafe. About Us: The River’s Edge is a membership only, gay, clothing optional campground community that is open year-round. The River’s Edge Campground in Dewy Rose, GA is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Staff Member for immediate placement on a GREAT TEAM in an Enjoyable Work Environment! NOTE: We do NOT provide housing on grounds. We are looking for a local employee with secure housing and transportation. Functions/Skills Needed: Front Desk Reservations – answer phones, book and track reservations, watch waitlists to re-book for any cancellations Communications – return voicemails, emails, and web inquiries Customer Service – be friendly and have an upbeat personality to greet and check guests in/out Cash Handling – End of day financial reporting and ensuring cash drawer is kept balanced Internal Communications – keep management and staff informed of any issues reported by guests, prepare and print-out cabin check outs for housekeeping Office Cleanliness – help keep front office clean and tidy, keep computer electrical equipment dusted Mail – get the mail and parse it out to recipients, retrieve packages delivered. Contact recipients to let them know their package arrived Requirements and Experience: Customer Service experience - Maintains a positive approach with a can-do attitude. Computer experience including email, reservation system (we will train you) Self-starter with good time management skills Demonstrates integrity, is forthright, accepts responsibility, is personally accountable, straightforward, truthful, and of good character Ability to work outdoors in all climates Must have reliable transportation Able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Full use of legs, arms and hands & full range of motion required: bending, twisting, lifting, squatting. Hours/Schedule: 16hrs./week minimum PT Year-round position Able to work weekends including 3-day holidays, Thanksgiving & Christmas Day off Schedule (subject to change and flexibility required to meet evolving business needs): *Fridays and Saturdays 2pm – 10pm *Ability to cover shifts for teammate vacations and call outs may lead to additional hours Pay: Starting pay is $14/hr and will be raised to $15/hr after 3 months of solid performance.
