Join Our Team We're on the hunt for a bright, outgoing, and confident Front Desk Associate to be the face and heartbeat of our front desk during evening hours. If you light up a room when you walk in, love connecting with people of all ages, and take pride in solving problems before anyone even has to ask — we want to meet you. This is more than a front desk job. You'll be a key part of our community, our culture, and our growing social media presence. Available Shifts Monday–Friday (3:30 PM – 9:30 PM) & Saturday (8:45 AM – 1:30 PM) What You'll Do Welcome every single person who walks through our doors with warmth, eye contact, and genuine enthusiasm — you set the tone for their entire visit Build real relationships with students, parents, and prospective members Confidently explain our programs to new families using an easy-to-learn script (we'll train you!) Answer phones, schedule trial classes, and follow up with leads in a friendly, professional way Check students in, update their info, and keep our system tidy Capture the magic! Help create fun, engaging social media videos and photos during classes — from kids' belt promotions to adult sparring sessions, you'll help us tell the Academy story on Instagram and beyond Keep the front desk clean, organized, and inviting — a tidy space is a happy space Assist with uniforms, merchandise, and light inventory Support special events, promotions, and seminars Jump in on administrative tasks and use good judgment to solve small day-to-day issues without needing to be told Who You Are A naturally cheerful, outgoing people-person with great self-esteem and a positive attitude that's contagious Confident, dependable, and quick on your feet — you notice what needs to be done and just… do it Comfortable using common sense to handle small problems and find solutions on the fly Genuinely interested in people and the stories they bring through our door Comfortable being in front of (and behind) a camera for social media content Reliable, punctual, and committed to the full shift schedule Requirements 1+ year of customer service experience (required) Spanish speaking (strongly preferred) Front desk, administrative, or retail experience (preferred) Basic comfort with smartphones for taking photos and short videos Must be available for the full shift schedule Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of or experience in jiu-jitsu or kickboxing is a HUGE plus — if you train, we want to hear about it! If you don't, that's ok too. We'd be happy to get you started.
