Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid: 1-2 days onsite) Industry: Biotech Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 base + relocation and travel support Job Details Our client, a leading organization in the biotech space, is seeking a Front End Developer with strong UI design expertise to join their dynamic, 50-person in-house marketing team. This is a high-impact opportunity to help modernize and redesign a corporate website using a headless architecture (Sitecore), while bridging the gap between brand design and front-end development. This role is ideal for someone who can interpret design systems, contribute to UI/UX strategy, and deliver polished, scalable front-end code. You'll report directly to the Web Manager and collaborate closely with designers and stakeholders to elevate the brand's digital presence. Responsibilities Develop modern front-end solutions using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, production-ready code within a headless CMS (Sitecore) Build and maintain reusable components, templates, and design systems Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma Collaborate with designers to evolve and maintain a cohesive design language Contribute to a major website UI redesign, improving usability and visual elegance Ensure experiences are responsive, accessible, and user-centric Leverage AI-powered web technologies to enhance digital functionality and experience Partner cross-functionally with marketing and creative teams on brand-level initiatives Requirements 4+ years of experience in front-end development and UI/UX design Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Advanced skills in Figma, including design tokens, variables, and component libraries Experience with or exposure to headless CMS platforms (Sitecore preferred) Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and UX principles Ability to confidently translate design concepts into functional, scalable code Comfortable working at the intersection of design and development Familiarity with AI tools and capabilities within web environments Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and a curious, solutions-oriented mindset In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data.
