About The Role Motional is seeking a highly skilled Staff Front End Engineer to join its Web Visualization Tooling team. This pivotal role involves designing, developing, and maintaining critical web tooling and visualization systems that enhance the feedback loops for machine learning engineers and improve the overall performance and adaptability of our autonomous vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will lead the development of scalable, high-performance frontend ecosystems using modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Vue. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including ML, UX, data services, and data annotation teams to ensure that tooling aligns with real-world workflows and operational needs. Your contributions will directly impact internal systems used by various teams, supporting complex data-heavy workflows and ensuring best practices in performance, scalability, and maintainability.
