Job Summary The Front End Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front end of the store, overseeing all aspects of customer service and sales. This position is responsible for managing cashiers, supervising staff, and maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of retail operations. Duties Supervise and train front-end staff, including cashiers and customer service associates. Manage daily operations at the front end, ensuring efficient checkout processes and excellent customer service. Oversee inventory management and control, ensuring stock levels are maintained. Handle payroll and bookkeeping tasks related to front-end operations. Implement effective merchandising strategies to promote sales and enhance store presentation. Conduct employee orientation and training programs to develop team skills in customer service and sales techniques. Utilize POS systems for transactions, inventory tracking, and reporting purposes. Collaborate with management on budgeting, purchasing, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance among staff members. Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with strong supervisory skills. Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving sales targets. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in cash handling, retail math, and inventory control practices. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Familiarity with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll processing, and employee recruitment. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions. Experience in training & development of staff to enhance performance and service quality. Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail sales is beneficial.
