Frankly Pizza is a family-owned, busy, wood-burning pizza restaurant in Kensington, MD and we are currently seeking a front of house assistant manager. We are seeking a hard-working, responsible person who is a hands on team player with a positive attitude, pleasing personality and a passion for the hospitality industry. The assistant manager will work with the existing management team and staff to achieve guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation in the restaurant and in our carry out division. The candidate must have at least one year of management experience and additional front of house experience. The candidate must be presentable, computer literate, honest and hard working. Hours include nights and weekends. Responsibilities Assists in managing FOH operations for carry out and/or for dine in operations Acts as the manager-on-duty when the FOH manager or owner is not on site Ensures that the highest level of hospitality and service is provided to guests at all times Ensures safety, cleanliness, and security awareness standards are emphasized, practiced, and inspected Trains and mentors team members Demonstrates a positive attitude, energetic personality, and strong work ethic Completes close-out procedures and cash deposits when closing Ability to stand on feet for an extended period of time Qualifications: 1 year of management experience in a restaurant; additional restaurant (FOH) experience is a plus Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and multi-task Solid work ethic with strong decision making skills Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision Basic computer, math, and communication skills required In addition to a friendly and positive work environment, we offer competitive wages based on experience and employee-sponsored health benefits to full-time employees.
