Job Overview A La Mode Pies, Seattle’s premier pie company, is currently looking for a Front of House Manager. The Front-of-House Manager is responsible for maintaining a positive environment that provides fast, efficient, and friendly service, ensuring quality experience for both our customers and team members. You will hire new employees, lead training, ensure our customer service is as good as the pie, motivate staff, ensure consistent product knowledge among team members, encourage safe work practices, and demonstrate a strong commitment to our core values. This position directly supervises both the Ballard and West Seattle retail cafés and acts as the manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager. This position will require holidays, weekends, and some nights. Responsibilities Oversight of 8-10 employees• Employee training and development• Ordering and inventory• Cash handling and tip distribution• Provide the highest level of customer service• Experience making espresso• Cleaning• Marketing and product merchandising A Quality Candidate Will Have Professional food service experience• A positive attitude• A desire to learn and grow• Exceptional customer service skills• Schedule flexibility and availability• Problem solving and leadership skills• The ability to lead by example Compensation & Benefits This full-time position pays $30-$32 hourly (DOE) whichincludes a portion of daily tips, with the potential to become a salaried position.
