Front of the House Manager Responsible for all front of the house food and beverage operations including hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, and terminating staff when necessary, in order to create a successful team and execute related programs. Summary of Essential Job Functions · Contribute to a positive, professional, and successful work environment · Employ leadership skills to assemble and lead a highly functional food & beverage operation · Apply effective interpersonal skills to manage both your staff and guests · Work effectively, accurately, and positively in a busy work environment · Good problem solver who understands and can manage common dining and member issues Staff · Hiring · Training · Supervision · Scheduling o Understand the business activity levels and ensure that you are present for busy service times and schedule staff levels to successfully meet that demand · Coach · Discipline · Terminate as needed Service · Great customer service · Promotion of key items and programs o Staff must understand and actively inform customers about the key times such as steak, BBQ, BBQ sauces, ice cream, etc. as well as membership programs such as Sport and Full Golf Memberships · Understanding ticket times and ensuring there is expo coverage when needed o Work with GM to establish regular Expo position which will fall under the Front of House Manager o Understand expected ticket times and engage in ensuring these times are met as often as possible · Positively identify and resolve guest issues when they arise · Ensure all staff are in proper uniform including name tag at all times Inventory · Ensure proper par levels based on business activity · Place needed orders to keep all items in stock · Conduct accurate monthly inventory Product / Pricing · Make sure all product costs are updated in the monthly inventory · Help identify new seasonal products such as beer and cocktails to keep selection variety · Ensure all new product are priced appropriately Sanitation · Ensure bar, grill, and patio area are kept thoroughly clean at all times · Ensure all food handling and TABC requirements are met · Ensure staff has all cleaning products and tools required to keep areas clean and sanitized Systems · Be proficient in all functions of the food and beverage POS system · Ensure new items are added to the point of sales system correctly · Ensure old items are hidden or removed correctly · Check for regular updates to the POS system · Actively look for ways to improve or make more efficient the POS setup and propose to the GM for consideration Team · Work positively and constructively with all department heads · Communicate regularly with the executive Chef and other department heads to discuss operational challenges and potential opportunities Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits Paid time off Shift: Evening shift Experience: Culinary: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Food Handler Certification (Required) TABC Certification (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Keller, TX 76248 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Keller, TX 76248: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
