Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of customer service, food quality, and safety. Your leadership will drive the success of our casual dining or quick service environment, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews. Responsibilities Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and training new team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Oversee customer service delivery, ensuring guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional attention at all times. Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing levels, and handle shift changes to optimize service efficiency during peak hours. Maintain inventory control for front-of-house supplies, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and beverage stock levels to reduce waste and control costs. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at the end of each shift. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and health regulations across all front-of-house activities. Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food preparation and delivery times for seamless service during busy periods. Support food preparation, food handling, and food production processes when necessary to assist the team during high-volume times or staffing shortages. Conduct staff training sessions focused on customer service excellence, food safety practices, and operational procedures. Assist in interviewing and hiring new team members to build a motivated and skilled workforce aligned with our hospitality standards. Monitor guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to uphold our reputation for outstanding hospitality. Qualifications Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ideally within casual dining or quick service settings. Strong background in food service management with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, training staff, and managing shifts effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform inventory control tasks efficiently. Experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles preferred; hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus. Knowledge of budgeting, food handling procedures, and food industry standards is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
