Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.This role offers an opportunity to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and hospitality are maintained.Prior experience in casual dining, fine dining, or catering settings is highly valued, along with proficiency in POS systems such as Toast.Duties Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including training and development to ensure excellent customer service.Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth service flow.Manage food preparation and presentation standards to uphold quality and consistency.Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS system; oversee cash handling procedures.Monitor inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels for smooth operations while minimizing waste.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.Assist with food production, kitchen management, and food handling procedures as needed.Support customer service initiatives by resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members; contribute to staff training programs.Collaborate with management on budgeting, food cost control, and operational improvements.Lead efforts in hospitality management including banquet events, catering services, bar operations, and special functions.Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments.Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety standards.Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS; cash handling expertise required.Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising diverse teams.Knowledge of inventory control, food industry best practices, and hospitality management principles.Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.Prior experience in counter service or catering environments is a plus.Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a positive team environment.Culinary experience or background in food production is advantageous; hospitality experience preferred.This role provides an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader passionate about the food industry to make a significant impact on our guest experiences while advancing their career in restaurant management.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
