We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex full-stack web applications. Define and own the technical architecture for new and existing web applications, focusing on scalability and reliability. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams through code reviews and standard enforcement. Collaborate with quantitative analysts and business users to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. Drive innovation in areas such as portfolio construction, risk management, and alpha research. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, end-to-end web applications. Expertise in modern front-end development with Angular. Strong proficiency in back-end development with Python and its web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask). Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and SQL. Proven ability to lead complex projects through the entire software development lifecycle.
