Poor Richards in Eureka is looking for people of all ages and experience to come join our kitchen staff! We are looking for a qualified Fry cook for nights and weekends . As of right now we are looking for mainly nights. Offering competitive pay, great working environment, flexible schedule, and free employee meals. Fry cooks earn about $20 an hour. Experience preferred BUT more experience = more pay . Run the line on a Saturday night and we will happily pay $20 per hour. Room to grow and able to get health benefits (for managers after 90 days), possible management positions, and salary. Work Remotely No Qualifications Food preparation and cooking skills Restaurant and kitchen experience Culinary background with a focus on meal preparation Proficiency in food handling and knife skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities Prepare and cook fried foods according to established recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station, ensuring food safety and sanitation compliance Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, and knives with precision and care Support the overall food service process by ensuring timely delivery of hot, crispy wings to guests Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of ingredients Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of food quality and presentation during busy service hours Experience Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Basic knife skills and familiarity with cooking techniques are advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus Experience in meal or food preparation within the food industry demonstrates a strong foundation for success Previous kitchen experience involving frying or catering is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Fry Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
