Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team.In this vital role, you will oversee the complete accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with accounting standards.You will manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.Your expertise in various accounting software and financial concepts will drive the integrity of our financial data, supporting informed decision-making and organizational growth.This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional eager to contribute to a thriving organization committed to excellence.Duties Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.Maintain payroll records, process payroll transactions, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.Perform budget analysis, assist with financial report writing, and support month-end and year-end closing procedures.Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or similar platforms to streamline processes.Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards for non-profit or public sector organizations as applicable.Handle tax-related activities including preparation of tax filings and supporting documentation.Conduct account analysis, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting to uphold data integrity.Skills Extensive experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other financial tools.Strong understanding of GAAP standards and governmental or non-profit accounting practices.Proficiency in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation.Knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, accounts payable/receivable management, and budget preparation.Ability to perform detailed account analysis using 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry.Familiarity with technical accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping and general ledger management.Excellent skills in financial report writing and interpreting complex financial data for diverse audiences.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in account reconciliation and general ledger accounting tasks.Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and ensure accurate financial documentation.This role is perfect for a motivated professional eager to leverage their comprehensive accounting expertise in a fast-paced environment dedicated to integrity and excellence.Join us in making a meaningful impact through precise financial management!
