Core Responsibilities QuickBooks Management:Record and categorize daily transactions, perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger. ADP payroll processing, benefits, 401k Government Compliance:Maintain DCAA-compliant accounting processes, ensuring the system can accurately track direct and indirect costs.Project Cost Tracking:Assign labor and expenses to specific government contracts or Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to facilitate accurate billing and audits.Accounts Payable/Receivable:Manage vendor payments and create client invoices that align with specific contract terms and approved budgets.Payroll & Time Tracking:Oversee payroll processing and ensure employees log hours against correct contract codes as required by DCAA-approved timekeeping rules Financial Reporting:Generate monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and specialized reports for government agencies Key Skills & Qualifications Expertise in QuickBooks:Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Desktop, including experience with advanced integrations like Expensify or Bill.com.Government Contracting Knowledge:Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DCAA audit requirements.Detail-Oriented:Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in complex ledgers to prevent audit red flags.Audit Support:Experience preparing documentation for internal and external government audits.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$56,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Work Location:In person.
