Job Description Full Stack Engineer Job Details Job Summary Job Title: Full Stack Engineer Location: Seattle, WA Remote Company Overview: Cogitometric is disrupting the job search market by combining intelligent job matching, resume optimization, and AI-driven guidance into one workflow. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain user-facing web apps for resume uploads, job search, match scoring, and rewrite workflows. Design backend APIs supporting authentication, sessions, caching, search, and document processing. Integrate LLM-driven features for resume tailoring, job scoring, and personalized recommendations. Work with document extraction pipelines, vector search, and structured job/resume data. Improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across the stack. Collaborate on product decisions, UX improvements, and technical architecture. Required Qualifications Frontend: Strong experience with modern full-stack development and web frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar). Backend: Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or equivalent for building APIs and deploying production software. Data & Infrastructure: Experience working with databases, search systems, and authentication caching. AI Integration: Comfort integrating third-party APIs and AI/LLM services. Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have) Experience with vector databases, OCR, document processing, or ATS/resume systems. Knowledge of semantic search or retrieval systems. Exposure to Redis, Postgres, pgvector, FAISS, or similar tools. Understanding of job search, recruiting, or ATS workflows. Experience optimizing cloud costs and latency for AI products.
