Job Description
The Journeyman will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting full stack applications in a cloud-native AWS environment. The role requires strong hands-on development experience, adherence to Agile practices, and a focus on quality, security, and performance across all deliverables. Role Title: Full-Stack Engineer Location: Remote Clearance Requirement: Public Trust required Required Skills and Experience Minimum of five years of software development experience with hands-on design and development of full stack applications. Strong proficiency in building platforms on AWS using cloud-native technologies, including Serverless or SAM, Lambda, S3, and RDS. Proven experience building and modifying code with comprehensive unit testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. Strong expertise in modern web technologies with deep hands-on experience in Node.js for backend development and React.js for frontend development. Solid understanding and practical experience working in Agile development environments, including Scrum and Kanban methodologies. Preferred Skills Experience with AWS DevOps practices and CloudWatch log analysis. Ability to triage production issues and provide timely resolutions. Experience documenting technical designs and solution approaches. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Analyze and solution user stories and participate in story development. Develop application features aligned with approved user stories and technical designs. Perform thorough unit testing and defect resolution to ensure code quality. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint meetings, and provide regular progress updates. Expected Deliverables Completion of story cards with the highest level of quality, ensuring data security and compliance standards are met. Timely support for defect fixes across development, testing, and production environments. Support application deployments across all required environments.
