Apply now for this opportunity at Carex! Carex is partnering with a FinTech industry partner to hire a Full-Stack Engineer (TypeScript) for a hybrid opportunity in Madison, Wisconsin . This role is ideal for a high-agency engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, embraces ambiguity, and enjoys owning meaningful product surface area from backend architecture through frontend delivery. This person will help build scalable systems, shape engineering patterns, and create products that solve real operational challenges for customers. Strong TypeScript expertise, product instincts, and enthusiasm for modern development tooling are key to success in this role. This role is hybrid in Madison, WI. What You'll Do Design and build product features end-to-end, from database schemas and backend logic to polished user interfaces. Develop data-connected frontend experiences that solve real user needs and support business workflows. Establish scalable engineering patterns, architecture decisions, and coding conventions for a growing team. Rapidly ship improvements, iterate based on feedback, and continuously refine solutions. Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and technologies that improve speed and quality. Partner cross-functionally to turn product ideas into reliable, production-ready software. Contribute to a high-performance engineering culture centered on ownership, execution, and momentum. What You'll Bring Strong professional experience using TypeScript in full-stack development environments. Experience building dynamic, data-driven frontend applications rather than static interfaces. Solid understanding of backend systems, schema design, and scalable data structures. Proven success delivering non-trivial products or features that have been shipped and actively used. Comfort using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals. Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action and accountability. Ability to navigate ambiguity and independently create clarity, structure, and forward progress. Interest in modern development tooling, frameworks, compilers, and emerging engineering workflows. Compensation $130,000 - $200,000 base salary plus comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage.
