Delivery Driver Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters is hiring a Delivery Driver! The Delivery Driver role is a high-energy, motivated, detail-oriented, quality-focused team player, primed to supply excellent customer service and ready to join a fantastic group of dedicated people. As a Delivery Team member you are crucial to our success, interacting with every part of the company (warehouse, production, bakery, accounting, our retail teams, etc.) as well as being the face of the company to our wholesale clients. Established in 1993 and known for our vibrant, positive culture and community engagement, Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters aims to be the leader in specialty coffee in the Inland Northwest. That's why, since we opened our first shop in 1993, we roast all of the coffee served in our cafes. We also serve a wide variety of delicious foods made fresh in our own scratch bakery. Delivery Driver responsibilities include but are not limited to: Fulfilling orders and delivering products accurately and on time; this includes pulling freight, preparing orders, loading and unloading the delivery vehicle Ensure food products are handled and delivered with a focus on food safety Serve as a brand ambassador by providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of delivery vehicles and equipment Communicate effectively with the Logistics Lead and Warehouse Manager regarding any issues on or off the route Navigate a variety of weather and road conditions Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar role (preferred) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Attention to detail and a commitment to quality Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures Ability to quickly learn new systems and/or experience with Microsoft Office, NetSuite, Square, and Paylocity Track record of reliability and punctuality WA Food & Beverage Workers Permit required (within 7 days of hire) The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to bend at the waist, stoop, kneel, and crouch, and perform work which involves lifting, pushing and or pulling heavy objects (50-100 lbs.), stepping in and out of delivery van, sitting for extended periods Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday Delivery Driver/Warehouse salary range @ $18.25-$19.50 per hour Benefits include PTO, health & vision insurance, 401k eligibility after first year, employee discount, and free coffee weekly!
