Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicles, including diesel engines, using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in top condition. Repair heavy equipment, generators, and industrial machinery with precision, utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques. Troubleshoot electrical systems and wiring issues on vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately identify issues and execute repairs efficiently. Assist with vehicle inspections for dealership or fleet purposes; ensure all repairs meet safety regulations and quality standards. Support customer service efforts by explaining repair processes clearly and providing timely updates on vehicle status. Engage in heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols during all repair activities. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background with automotive repair expertise. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized repair tools. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for accurate diagnostics and repairs. Experience repairing generators, industrial equipment, or similar machinery is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions; safety-conscious mindset.
