Our general dental practice is looking for a full-time dental assistant. As a fee-for-service general dental office, we offer a family friendly, comfortable, and professional dental care to our community. These are examples of duties Welcome patients in the dental office on time Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean in between patients and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Order and manage dental supplies Excellent skills on X-ray and impression taking Assist front desk during down time Detailed assistant roles will be discussed during interview Pay $20.00 - $23 per hour based on experience, negotiable We are open 4 days per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Benefits we offer for full-time assistant Health insurance Retirement Matching Pay Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday Paid Off Details for the Position Great communication skills to provide customized care to patients We are looking for a team player who can cooperate with other staff members.
