Job Description
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Freeport, Maine. Physical Therapist ~ Discipline: Therapy ~ Shift: 8 hours ~ Employment Type: Travel Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Freeport, ME at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Maine Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting in accordance with clinic and regulatory requirements. Experience with functional, community-focused treatment programs and safe patient handling techniques. Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicators, and letters of medical necessity. Willingness to participate in student supervision and contribute to professional development activities. Previous experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic or with Select Medical/large multi-clinic systems. Facility Type: Outpatient clinic. Candidate may be required to float to other clinics within the region as needed. Freeport, ME offers coastal living with easy access to outdoor recreation and local culture. The area is suitable for clinicians who prefer a balance of outdoor adventure and walkable village services, with regional transit links via US Route 1 and nearby Interstate 295 for commuting to surrounding communities.
