Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full Time Qualified Teacher specializing in Twos to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers, fostering their growth across developmental domains such as social-emotional skills, literacy, and early math concepts. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and childhood development will ensure each child receives personalized attention that promotes their curiosity and love of learning. Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of Twos children, incorporating elements of Montessori, literacy education, and early intervention strategies. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that promote active learning, creativity, and physical activity through teaching physical education and other interactive activities. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that supports positive behavior management and fosters a sense of safety and belonging for every child. Observe and assess individual progress in areas such as childhood development, social skills, language acquisition, and early math concepts; document findings for parent communication and standardized testing requirements. Collaborate with families to support child welfare by providing regular updates on progress and addressing any specific needs related to special education or behavior management. Maintain classroom organization, manage routines efficiently, and ensure compliance with childcare regulations and health & safety standards. Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, toddler care, classroom management techniques, and curriculum enhancements. Skills Proven experience working with children aged two years old in a daycare or preschool setting with classroom experience in early childhood education. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Expertise in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and Montessori methods. Ability to plan lessons effectively while integrating standardized testing preparation when necessary. Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs. Familiarity with toddler care practices including child welfare standards and daycare regulations. Demonstrated ability to implement inclusive teaching strategies for children with diverse needs or those requiring additional support such as special education or early intervention services.
