Fulltime Substitute-High School 26-27

The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District is seeking applicants interested in being a fulltime substitute at the High School for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is a daily substitute at the 9-12 grade levels. ADM High School is a highly collaborative staff that educates approximately 650 students and shares a complex with the Middle School. The successful candidate will have knowledge of standards referenced grading and professional learning communities. Applicants must be highly collaborative, demonstrate passion for education and a personal philosophy of doing whatever it takes to help students be successful. Requirements Valid 9-12 Teacher License Essential Functions of this teacher include: Belief that each and every learner can achieve and work to make a positive impact in students' lives Knowledge of practices for a classroom including current research and evidence-based instructional practices Commitment to differentiated instruction Highly collaborative working with general education teachers both in and outside the grade level, interventionists and parents Strong communication skills Knowledge of using technology to enhance learning Interested candidates should complete and submit an online application with a letter of interest, resume, letters of recommendation and credentials.
