Overview A leading financial services organization is seeking a Fund Accountant to provide specialized accounting support for commingled investment portfolios. This role is responsible for executing key components of the Net Asset Value (NAV) process and ensuring daily accounting deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant with team quality standards. The position offers strong exposure to fund accounting operations with a temp‐to‐perm opportunity based on performance. Responsibilities Execute daily NAV activities, including transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash, and special handling items Identify, investigate, escalate, and resolve accounting breaks and discrepancies Serve as the primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries Verify data accuracy and completeness across daily accounting deliverables Manage daily production volume while meeting quality and timeliness standards Track, monitor, and follow up on open issues and inquiries through resolution Partner with internal departments to resolve issues and minimize operational risk Maintain and support daily production and management reporting (e.g., cash breaks, reconciliations, past‐due analysis) Communicate professionally and constructively to support issue resolution and stakeholder alignment Develop an understanding of how individual responsibilities impact broader business objectives Contribute to division‐wide process improvement and efficiency initiatives Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively under time and resource constraints Work overtime and U.S. holidays as business needs require Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent relevant work experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team‐based environment Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure Willingness to work U.S. holidays and overtime as required
