Job Description
The OpportunityLeverage an existing portfolio of corporate, foundation, and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) relationships to secure new and repeat fundingPersonally solicit, negotiate, and close major gifts and sponsorships ($50K–$1M+)Develop and maintain active donor pipelines, tracking prospects from introduction through closeExecute tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for priority donorsOversee the selection and implementation of fundraising technology platforms, including: Donor management / CRM toolsDigital donation and campaign platformsPartner with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure systems support donor tracking, reporting, and complianceOwn the fundraising operating budget related to tools, platforms, and campaignsContribute a limited role in marketing strategy as it relates to fundraising campaigns (message alignment, donor-facing content—not brand ownership)Design and execute digital fundraising campaigns to complement relationship-based fundraisingUse digital campaigns to feed and expand the major gift pipelineAnalyze campaign performance metrics (conversion, average gift, donor retention) to refine executionCoordinate timing and sequencing of campaigns with donor cultivation effortsTranslate clinical outcomes, program results, and impact data into compelling donor-facing narrativesRepresent Vituity Cares Foundation externally with credibility and confidencePrepare customized pitch materials, proposals, and executive-level donor briefingsServe as a trusted external ambassador aligned with VCF's mission and valuesAdvise leadership on emerging donor trends, partnership opportunities, and market feedbackStrategy is demonstrated through informed execution, not standalone strategic ownershipRequired Experience and CompetenciesMaster's Degree plus 10 years of experience in non-profit or healthcare management in a leadership role including budgeting and financial management (Preferred)Advanced major gift solicitation and closing techniquesAbility to independently manage full fundraising cyclesBudget awareness and ROI-driven decision-makingHigh emotional intelligence and credibility with senior donorsAbility to build trust rapidly and maintain long-term donor relationshipsStrong negotiation and persuasion skillsAbility to interpret fundraising metrics and campaign performanceCRM and donor platform literacy (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, Classy, Givebutter, etc.)Strong organizational skills to manage pipelines, deadlines, and reportingCommunication skillsExceptional storytelling and presentation abilitiesAbility to translate complex data into compelling donor narrativesBenefits & BeyondSuperior health plan optionsDental, Vision, HSA/FSA, Life and AD&D coverage, and moreTop Tier 401(k) retirement savings plans that offer a $1.20 match for every dollar up to 6% plus discretionary profit-sharing contributions (eligible January following 18 months of service)Generous paid time off starting 3-4 weeks annuallyStudent Loan Refinancing DiscountsProfessional and Career Development ProgramEAP and travel assistance includedWellness programPurpose-driven culture focused on improving the lives of our patients, communities, and employeesWe are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $102,290 - $130,420, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company's annual performance.
