JOB Summary:Gaming Machine Technicians are responsible for maintaining the performance, functionality, and cleanliness of all gaming machines.Duties include repairing minor machine errors, processing and paying out jackpots, resolving customer issues, assisting with machine moves and conversions, performing preventative maintenance, and delivering exceptional guest service.DUTIES AND Responsibilities:Adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements.Provide a high level of customer service.Troubleshoot and repair gaming machine errors.Process and pay jackpots in accordance with procedures.Clean machines thoroughly (top to bottom, inside and out).Collaborate with gaming staff and other departments.Contact appropriate vendors for inoperable machines.Troubleshoot and repair player tracking hardware.Utilize proper radio and telephone communication procedures.Assist with machine moves and conversions.Attend all necessary training and departmental meetings as required.Maintains a professional work environment with casino guest, management, and staff.Must meet the attendance guidelines of the job.Must adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.Must uphold and promote a high degree of confidentiality.Performs all other task or duties as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:Must be a minimum of 21 years of age upon employment.High school diploma or its equivalent required.Previous gaming machine technician or casino experience a plus.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.Must possess excellent communication skills.Must have the ability to resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.Must have the ability to deal effectively with and interact well with others.Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Key license through the OGC.Must be able to work night, weekends, and holidays as needed.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for long period of time.Must be able to lift 30lbs.Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.Demonstrate physical endurance and a positive mindset while performing effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$10.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours:40 per week Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
