Garbage Truck Mechanic

Mechanic (Kailua Kona) FULL TIME $25-$50 Depending on Ability and Experience We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team. You will be maintaining and repairing a 20 truck fleet. These are diesel engine garbage trucks and they have extensive hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate will not be afraid to get dirty and will get used to the smell. Responsibilities Repair and maintain trucks as necessary. Requires understanding or ability to gain understanding of all mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on the trucks. Perform routine vehicle maintenance. Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components. Welding and fabrication ability preferred. Organize and maintain shop, tools and parts inventory.
