Job Overview This is a highly flexible Garden Assistant position, supporting a woman-owned local small business to bring neighborhood gardens to their fullest potential. Responsibilities You will work closely with the business owner and assist her with maintaining and enhancing gardens of clients, mostly in the Weaverville area.The company's farm and equipment office are in Marshall.Being able to meet for work at the office and on-site is necessary.Clear and consistent communication is of the utmost importance.You will receive training in the company's values and practices concerning all aspects of horticulture - including, but not limited to pruning, weed control, chemical safety, using various power tools, planting, watering, scouting, mulching, and more.You must be able to work in weather conditions including heat, cold, and light precipitation. Experience Wages will be determined by relative horticultural experience, and applicants with enthusiasm for learning, communication skills, and schedule flexibility will be prioritized.Pay:$20.00 - $30.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location:In person.
