Job OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Garden Associate to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gardening and retail sales, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.As a Garden Associate, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their gardening needs, providing expert advice on plants, lawn care, and floral design.Your enthusiasm for gardening and commitment to customer service will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors.Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting plants, flowers, and gardening supplies based on their needs and preferences.Provide knowledgeable advice on plant care, and maintenance techniques.Engage with customers to understand their gardening goals and offer tailored solutions.Stock shelves and maintain the organization of the garden center to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.Deliver plants to customers, etc.Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the garden area, including watering plants and removing debris.Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers effectively.Knowledge of gardening practices, including plant care techniques.Able to lift 50lb and work outside in the heat Must have a clean driving record.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.Join our team as a Garden Associate and share your love for gardening while helping customers cultivate their green spaces!
