In this energetic role, you'll inspire customers with your gardening expertise, assist them in finding the perfect plants, tools, and accessories, and create a welcoming shopping environment.Your passion for horticulture and customer service will help grow our community of gardening enthusiasts while ensuring every visitor leaves with the knowledge and products they need to succeed.This paid position offers a dynamic work environment where you can develop your skills in retail sales, merchandising, and plant care.fork lift experience preferred, lifting required Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on plants, gardening tools, lawn care, landscape maintenance Assist customers in selecting products that meet their gardening needs and offer tips on plant/lawn care and landscape projects.Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment to enhance the shopping experience.Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory management.Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, safe, and inviting at all times Communicate product features clearly in English; multilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customers.Strong knowledge of gardening, horticulture, lawn care, landscape maintenance, , and plant health.Excellent communication skills to educate customers and promote sales confidently.Experience with retail sales techniques, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.Organizational skills to manage stocking, merchandising displays, and store cleanliness efficiently.Ability to work well in a team environment while providing outstanding customer service.Multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging with a diverse clientele.also help with animal supplies, pet foods, insecticide Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
