This is a Garden Maintenance Team Leader role with Green by Nature based in Mumbil, NSW, AU == Green by Nature == Role Seniority - mid level More about the Garden Maintenance Team Leader role at Green by Nature This role will see you manage the beautiful grounds and facilities of the Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre. This hands on role will see you oversee and undertake all aspects of site operations, ensuring all users have access to a wide range of activities in a safe and tranquil environment. About You You are a qualified horticulturist (or similar) with a strong background working across high quality sites. You have, or are willing to obtain, a valid white card and working with children check. You are also prepared to undertake a national police check - this is an absolute requirement given the nature of this site. You are computer literate and have excellent organisational skills. You have previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role where you have proven yourself to be able to motivate and develop your team members to get the best out of them. This role will have responsibility for performance management of staff. Above all, you have a can-do attitude and thrive under pressure - no two days will be the same in this fast-paced role. Responsibilities Undertake and supervise all onsite activities providing guidance and support to ensure the needs of the client are met and exceeded. Plan, schedule and oversee mowing, edging, pruning, fertilising, pest control and any other requirements across the site Collaborate with the client to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide recommendations Conduct site assessments to identify maintenance needs, develop work plans, and estimate resource requirements Implement programs for seasonal needs Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies Provide monthly reporting to management Foster a culture of safety Benefits Company vehicle, laptop and phone Uniform and all PPE supplied Supportive management team and fantastic team culture Take part in ongoing training and career development programs Our Team & Culture Discover Green by Nature, our purpose is to enhance lives by constructing, nurturing, and maintaining exceptional green spaces.
