Fine Gardener - Join Our Team! Hours:18-24 hours a week/3-4 day.Location:Various gardens throughout the North and East Bay.Please be comfortable commuting to Tiburon, Mill Valley, and Castro Valley.Pay:$30- $35 per hour, based on experience.Are you passionate about plants, sustainability, and working outdoors? Whether you have 2years of experience, are working toward a horticulture degree, or are embarking on a new career direction, we value your dedication and curiosity.Excellent communication skills - More important than anything else is the ability to acknowledge skills that need improvement and actively communicate with other staff to get the job done well.Dependable & professional - We take pride in our work and in fostering strong relationships with clients and each other.Physically capable - Gardening requires stamina to move compost all day and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Reliable transportation - You'll work in gardens throughout the Bay Area, primarily in the North and East Bay.Commitment to growth - We're looking for someone who wants to be part of our team for at least two years and develop their skills alongside us.Bonus Skills That Make You Stand Out - Expertise in general garden maintenance and pruning, especially native plants. Knowledge of vegetable gardening and sustainable food production. Experience with irrigation systems (installation, programming, and retrofitting). A warm, team-oriented attitude - We love working with people who bring positive energy to the crew! Your Day-to-Day Every day is different, but your tasks may include: Planting, pruning, weeding, and watering. Spreading compost and mulch to enrich the soil. Installing and maintaining irrigation systems. Growing and tending vegetable gardens.
