Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Gate Clerk to oversee entry and exit points at our warehouse facility.This role is vital in ensuring smooth operations related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse environments, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and proficiency with various material handling equipment.The Gate Clerk will play a key role in maintaining security, accuracy, and efficiency within our distribution center.Responsibilities Monitor and control access to the warehouse, verifying credentials and documentation for all personnel and vendors Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and order picker to load and unload shipments Use RF scanners and AS400 systems for inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and data entry Assist with shipping & receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling of goods Support order picking, packing, stocking, and order fulfillment activities to meet distribution deadlines Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper load & unload procedures and using equipment safely Manage warehouse stock levels using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and MRP software Ensure the security of the facility by monitoring entry points and reporting any irregularities or safety hazards Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order quantities Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse management or distribution centers preferred Proficiency with warehouse equipment including forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and order picker Familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, and MRP systems Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes Ability to perform basic math accurately for inventory management purposes Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to operate equipment safely following safety protocols Basic understanding of e-commerce logistics is a plus Warehouse experience involving stock management, packaging, and order fulfillment is desirable This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics team while working in a fast-paced environment that values safety, accuracy, and efficiency.Pay:$23.61 - $28.44 per hour Benefits:Referral program Work Location:In person.
