Our client, a leading organization in the data management and cloud solutions industry, is seeking a GCP Data Platform Product Owner to join their team. As a GCP Data Platform Product Owner, you will be part of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) Product Management team supporting cross-functional stakeholders. Job Title: Product Owner (GCP Data Platform) Location: Charlotte, NC What's the Job? Define, prioritize, and deliver capabilities for enterprise-scale data ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Partner with stakeholders across multiple business lines to understand needs and translate them into platform capabilities that deliver measurable value. Collaborate with architecture, governance, and security teams to ensure platform compliance with enterprise policies and regulatory standards. Manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity of requirements and alignment with strategic business and technology goals. Drive the enablement of modern data capabilities leveraging GCP-native services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and others. What's Needed? 10+ years of experience in data management, data platforms, data governance, data engineering, or data analytics. 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise data capabilities on modern cloud data architectures or big-data platforms (e.g., GCP, Hadoop, Spark ecosystems). 5+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience, including defining product vision, roadmaps, and MVP strategies. 3+ years of experience with data architecture, cloud-based
