Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and energetic General Cleaner to join our team at EMS in Spencer, IN 47460.In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities.Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that our workspace remains hygienic and professional, supporting the health and safety of all staff and visitors.This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial or custodial experience who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.Wednesdays 5:30pm-7:30pm Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas to meet health and safety standards.Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to ensure optimal results.Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent hygiene standards are met daily.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution.Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed to ensure continuous availability.Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations during cleaning activities.Qualifications Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines.Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift.Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus.Join us in creating a clean environment that promotes health, safety, and professionalism!
