The position is responsible for staff supervision, providing legal counsel, formulating updating and implementing policies to comply with statutory and rule requirements, and performing administrative functions including statistical case status reporting and review of administrative orders. The position also serves as legal liaison with the Office of the State Courts Administrator and advises the Trial Court Administrator on personnel, contracts, ethics and public records issues. The position formulates long range goals for the organization based upon legal requirements and information obtained from court system databases, develops policy and position papers, and works with elected officials, including local government. Works under the general supervision of the Trial Court Administrator or their designee. Education, Experience, Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
