South San Francisco Dental Care is an award-winning, family-owned practice with a 40-year legacy of excellence. We are a "one-stop-shop" providing excellent dental care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. We deeply care about our South San Francisco community and regularly give back through our annual Smiles For All Day, a day of free dentistry serving our neighbors with limited access to oral healthcare. The Opportunity As a modern, growing dental practice committed to clinical excellence and comprehensive patient care, we are seeking a dedicated Associate to join our high-performing team. This is a unique position within a collaborative, multi-provider environment, alongside experienced GPs, in-house specialists (Perio, Endo, OS) and a high-level administrative team. Advanced Technology: iTero, CBCT, Global Microscope, soft tissue lasers, and digital x-rays Clinical Autonomy: Focus on dentistry while supported by a veteran team and organized systems No Quotas: We prioritize comprehensive patient care and integrity over sales pressure Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited school. Current CA dental license and DEA registration Experience: 3+ years preferred; GPR/AEGD is a plus. We are open to recent graduates who demonstrate high clinical potential and an ambitious work ethic. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and "Executive Presence". You must be able to collaborate respectfully with specialists, lead-level support staff and patients. Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and achieving optimal treatment results Key Responsibilities: Provide and oversee comprehensive care across all ages, focusing on restorative and preventative health. Maintain meticulous clinical notes and ensure treatment plans are accurately updated to facilitate proper patient follow-up. Uphold compliance with all safety and health regulations, and suggest/implement new processes to improve patient treatment outcomes. Collaborate with team members to maintain a personal patient panel for proper follow-up and case continuity. Build strong patient relationships through clear communication, setting treatment expectations and educating patients on alternatives and risks.
