General Farm / Greenhouse Laborer

Company Overview :Halter's Market & Greenhouse is dedicated to sustainable agriculture and providing high-quality, locally grown plants and produce.We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our greenhouse team to help us maintain and nurture our plants, ensuring that our operations continue to run smoothly and efficiently. Position Summary :As a Greenhouse Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring the healthy growth and maintenance of plants within our greenhouse.You will assist with planting, watering, and general upkeep of our greenhouse operations. Key Responsibilities: Planting and transplanting seeds, seedlings, and mature plants Watering plants Fertilizing plants according to care schedules Harvesting and packing plants for sale or distribution Keeping the greenhouse clean and organized Assisting with general maintenance of greenhouse equipment and tools Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols Qualifications: Previous experience in greenhouse or horticulture is a plus but not required Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Willingness to learn and follow established procedures Team-oriented with strong communication skills Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs Flexibility with hours, including weekends if necessary We look forward to hearing from you and potentially welcoming you to our greenhouse team!
