Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Handyman to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of residential and commercial properties. Your energetic approach and technical expertise will ensure our facilities operate smoothly, look their best, and meet safety standards. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and repairs across residential and commercial sites Conduct electrical work such as troubleshooting circuits, installing fixtures, and reading schematics Operate tools and equipment including welders, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and implement solutions Maintain facility systems by inspecting, servicing, and repairing HVAC units, electrical panels, and mechanical components Supervise or assist with small-scale projects involving welding or other fabrication tasks Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule preventative maintenance Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while ensuring safety protocols are followed Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, welding techniques, and facilities maintenance Proficiency in residential painting and basic carpentry tasks Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Supervising experience in maintenance or facilities management roles is highly desirable Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and clients effectively Leadership qualities with the ability to oversee projects or junior staff while maintaining a high standard of work This role is perfect for someone energetic who thrives on variety and hands-on problem solving.
