John A.Biewer Illinois is looking to add a Full-Time General Laborer to our team in Seneca, Illinois.This position will operate and maintain the de-lathe equipment and machinery. Schedule: 1st Shift:7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday Accountabilities: Primary responsibilities will include: ? Operate and maintain the equipment and machinery.? Matching barcodes to appropriate units.? Identifies the appropriate tags and placards to use.? Identifies different sizes of plywood and lumber appropriately.? Performance of banding, pneumatic stapling gun, hammer stapler.? Place and separate the lathe sticks from the material using a bar.? Ensure proper lifting procedures when lifting material and when team lift is required.? Maintain a safe workplace and culture, and complete required safety forms, checklists, and permits.? Perform Lockout procedures as needed.? Sweeping floors, picking up broken pieces of lumber, and shoveling debris. Qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent.?
