Please apply in person between 8:00 am-3:30 pm Timberland Forest Products 3772 US Highway 160 West Plains, MO 65775 417-372-6146 OPENINGS ARE:Full time - schedule will vary depending on business need Summary:Under direct supervision, loads and unloads materials (charcoal, briquette, and/or cooking wood) onto conveyor or work area, manually moves materials into machines, pallets, or other storage configurations with pace of production.Major Duties:Loads or unloads raw materials into machine or off conveyor while ensuring a constant flow through various operations.Examines product or work to ensure conformance to established standards.Stacking, bagging, and/or sorting materials.Assists in flow of materials or other items through machinery and equipment using proper technique.Observes operation of equipment to detect malfunctions.Notifies Machine Operator regarding any machinery and equipment start, stop, or adjustment as needed or required.May operate equipment to give breaks and/or lunches for machine operators.May record data from operations, testing and production on specified forms as required.May assist in performing routine preventative maintenance on equipment.Cleans work areas with hand tools, including shovels and brooms as required.Follows established safety requirements and standards.Other duties as assigned.Experience/Skills:Experience working around heavy machinery/equipment needed.Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.Able to push/pull/lift 50 lbs.repeatedly as needed throughout shift.Able to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended periods of time on a repetitive basis.Must have good vision, able to demonstrate good hand-eye coordination to handle or control tools or materials.Good basic math, reading and verbal communication skills in English required.Able to work in varying external weather temperatures and ground/surface conditions, depending on the season.Able to follow detailed instructions.Education:HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $15.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Prescription drug insurance Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Commute:West Plains, MO 65775 (Required) Work Location:In person.
