POSITION SUMMARY Entry level position in Plant.Perform all aspects of processing and packaging for a fresh food (produce) processing plant.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES o Work on wash line, sorting, packaging, sealing and boxing bagged and/or packaged salads o Some positions include stacking boxes on pallets and moving finished goods to other areas of the plant o Some positions require ability to safely and frequently lift and lower, push/pull - totes that range up to 30 pounds o Follow all operational policies and procedures, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) o Must understand and follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures o Must understand the purpose of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to all requirements o Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures o Other duties as assigned Core Competencies o Good teamwork and communication skills o Punctual and reliable o Willing to learn new skills to help fill in for temporary or permanent vacancies in other areas o Ability to work within a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required Experience and Education o No experience needed, training will be provided o Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish) Working Conditions:Working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Variations in conditions may occur.Able to work in loud, cold (35 ) and wet environment.Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.Lift and move up to 30 pounds, any specialized tools needed for specific equipment on site will be provided by the company and are to remain on site in the company tool box.To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed above not intended to be a complete list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with this job.Job Type:Full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Have you previously worked at Misionero?
